  • bf: are you scared?
  • me: in this economy who wouldn't be

It feels like you get the wind taken out of you. And it feels like you get punched in the stomach after you throw up. And then after you throw up again. It feels like the ground underneath you gets too tired so it’s taken out from under your feet and you fall down. It feels like there’s a rock in your throat when you try to breathe and swallow and live and it feels like your eyes are going to break because they burn and sting. Then it feels like your body is being ripped in half and your mind has permanently malfunctioned because you can’t say a sentence or think about something for more than a second. And then for a second you feel better and relieved and you know you’re going to be ok because all of this is temporary. It might be a long temporary, but still, that’s alright too.
